Entitled “Silence Destroys Consequences”, it is the result of a project by Vittorio Santoro initiated in March 2010. He began distributing invitations in the form of a letter to hundreds of people. The invitation contained simple instructions: “In the central part, please write by hand the following sentence: Silence destroys consequences”. This book contains reproductions of the letters and envelopes of the many participants. Vittorio Santoro himself played the game, placing his letter in a place known only to him. At his request, two people took a walk in Paris following a precise itinerary, taking notes as they walked. At the end of the walk, they could find a thin metal box in which the letter had been sealed. The transcriptions of the walk are recorded on a vinyl disc accompanying the book.

The book was composed by Thibault Caizergues, in Pica 10 and Miller Text typefaces, and printed by Art & Caractère, Lavaur, on Focus book, Natural, 80gr/m2.
