Alchimie moderne est née de la rencontre entre Viviane Sassen et Emanuele Coccia. Ces deux figures majeures de la photographie et de la philosophie tissent ensemble un dialogue constitué de mots et d’images, enraciné dans le territoire champenois, et ancré dans les inspirations d’art et de nature de la Maison Perrier-Jouët.

Dans cet ouvrage, une série de 80 photographies et un essai se croisent et s’unissent pour offrir un émerveillement neuf sur la puissance créatrice de la matière au sein du vivant. Les photographies et les mots, l’histoire de la Terre et l’histoire de la création, l’esprit et la matière, se mêlent, se confondent, se superposent et produisent un art infini pouvant prendre mille formes, une alchimie moderne qui bouleverse le regard et l’esprit.
