Nigel Peake
Tornare In Campo

Born in Northern Ireland, Nigel Peake is an artist and designer whose work sits at the intersection of drawing, painting, and architecture. Trained as an architect, he has developed a practice attentive to structures, rhythms, and detail. His works bring together landscapes, built elements, and natural forms in compositions that are both precise and open.

He has exhibited several times at Yvon Lambert, with which he maintains an ongoing collaboration.

Tornare In Campo brings together works made following various trips to Italy in 2025. Upon returning, Nigel Peake works from memory and his notes on the paintings . From these he later constructed a series of works that extend these impressions. Rather than seeking to faithfully depict specific places, the works carry forward an idea that has remained with him.

The exhibition unfolds as a sequence of translations: landscapes revisited after the fact, shaped by memory, gesture, and time. A way for the artist to translate an experience through his own visual language.

The exhibition also coincides with the release of Nigel Peake’s new book APPUNTI SU ALCUNI DIPINTI, which will be available at the gallery, alongside a signing with the artist taking place on June 18.

Exhibition Opening / Book Signing on Thursday, June 18 from 6 PM to 8 PM
