POLICY AT A GLANCE
  • 30-Day Returns: You can return any item within 30 days of delivery.

  • Item Condition: Items must be in their original, new, and unused condition to be eligible for a refund.

  • Contact Us First: Before returning any item, you must email us at shop@yvon-lambert.com for instructions.

  • Shipping Costs: You are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please email us with photos within 48 hours of delivery. If the shipping box is severely damaged, you can refuse the delivery.

  • International Returns: To avoid customs fees, you must clearly write 'RETURNED GOODS' on the outside of the package.

  • Refunds: Once we receive and approve your return, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
  1. Contact Us: Please email shop@yvon-lambert.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We will provide you with the necessary instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

  2. Package Your Item: Ensure the product is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. The product must be in new condition; if it is returned damaged or used, a refund will not be issued. Please include your contact information inside the package.

  3. Ship Your Return: You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and getting a receipt, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. If you paid by invoice, please provide us with your bank account number so we can process the transfer.

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange an item for another product, please contact us at shop@yvon-lambert.com. You will need to return the original item according to the policy above. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with an exchange (both for the returned item and the new item).

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is damaged in transit or is incorrect, please contact us at shop@yvon-lambert.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Please provide your order number and include clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging.

  • If the shipping box is severely damaged upon arrival, we recommend refusing the delivery. The package will be returned to us at no cost to you, and we will contact you to arrange a replacement or refund.

  • For items damaged in transit, we may offer to exchange the product for a new edition, provided one is available.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

If you are shipping a return from outside the European Union, you must clearly mark the outside of the package with 'RETURNED GOODS'. This is essential to avoid customs charges. Yvon Lambert Bookshop is not responsible for any customs fees incurred on a return. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from your refund.

UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

For packages that are not collected from the post office or delivery point within the designated timeframe, Yvon Lambert Bookshop reserves the right to charge you a handling fee. This fee covers the cost of the return shipping and administrative expenses charged by the freight company.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON SHIPPING COSTS

Please be aware that all shipping costs are non-refundable in any case. This includes the original shipping fee paid at the time of your order as well as any shipping costs you incur to return an item to us.
