Livre d'artiste composé de 41 titres d'œuvres littéraires retranscrits en traduction homophonique, d'après la tradition oulipienne. Un exercice de poésie concrète, à voir autant qu'à lire.
Quarante et un titres autrement est un livre d'artiste qui met en scène 41 titres de livres d'écrivains connus.
Les titres sont écrits en sonotraduction ou ce que les oulipiens appellent « traduction homophonique » (La Chute de Camus devenant Lâche Hutte par exemple). Cette forme de traduction peut être pratiquée d'une langue à l'autre (Mots d'heures : Gousse, Rames, sonotraduction en 1969 de Luis Van Rooten à partir des comptines anglaises Mother Goose's Rhymes) ou à l'intérieur de la même langue (Et ma blême araignée, ogre illogique et las de Victor Hugo pour Aimable, aime à régner au gris logis qu'elle a).
Chaque titre est écrit en majuscules, dans une typographie à caractère littéraire avec empattements et mis en espace dans la page de manière à ce que la progression de la lecture soit rythmée visuellement.
Les titres ont été choisis en fonction de leur potentiel de transformation en sonotraduction. Il s'agit de livres considérés comme des « canons » de la littérature (Le Vieil Homme et la Mer, La Chute, Crime et Châtiment, Cent ans de Solitude…), avec quelques exceptions reflétant les goûts de l'artiste pour certains écrivains et titres singuliers (Un truc soi-disant super auquel on ne me reprendra pas de David Foster Wallace et Les Braves Gens ne courent pas les rues de Flannery O'Connor).
L'agencement des titres sur une double page a été pensé en fonction du sens premier de ceux-ci, mais aussi des sens générés par la sonotraduction (L'abbé tue mène / Lésant faon tas nerf).
Il s'agit d'un livre à voir autant qu'à lire, dans une perspective se référant à la poésie concrète comme aux expérimentations oulipiennes.
Plasticienne ayant navigé entre géographie, géologie, paléontologie, bibliothéconomie et communication, Fabienne Radi (née en 1960 à Fribourg, vit et travaille à Genève) codirige la revue Tissu. Elle enseigne la pop culture à la HEAD – Genève et au Collège des Humanités de l'EPFL à Lausanne.

We process orders from Tuesday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Our photo prints and t-shirts are produced on-demand. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production before these items are shipped. - In-Stock Items (All Other Products)
All other orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1-2 business days. - Order Notifications
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after your purchase. A second email with tracking information will be sent as soon as your order has shipped. - Restocking
Occasionally, some item may be in the process of restocking. If this causes a delay in preparing your order, we will contact you directly by email to inform you.
2. Shipping & Delivery
- Packaging
We pack every order with care to ensure it arrives safely. Posters and prints are rolled and placed in a sturdy cardboard tube, which is then secured in a shipping box.
Important Note on Combined Orders:
Please be aware that certain items, like books and posters, cannot be safely packed together due to their different shapes and sizes. As a result, an order containing multiple item types may be shipped in separate packages and incur separate shipping fees. - Shipping Rates & Carriers
We ship worldwide from Paris via La Poste (France's national postal service), using their Colissimo, Priority Mail, or Delivengo services. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight, volume, and destination of your package. If you require a different carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL), please contact us before placing your order to arrange it. - Estimated Transit Times
Once your order has shipped, the estimated delivery times are as follows:

3. Free In-Store Pickup (Paris)
You can skip the shipping fees with our free local pickup service at our bookshop in Paris.
- How it Works:
Simply select the "Pick up" option at checkout. - Preparation Time:
In-stock items will be ready for pickup within 24 hours (Tuesday-Saturday). This does not apply to made-to-order items like art prints and t-shirts. - Notification:
We will send you an email as soon as your order is ready for collection, along with instructions. - Pickup Hours:

Return Policy
- 30-Day Returns: You can return any item within 30 days of delivery, as long as it's in new, unused condition.
- Contact Us First: Always email us at shop@yvon-lambert.com before sending anything back. We’ll guide you through the process.
- Shipping Costs: You are responsible for return shipping costs. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Exchanges: Yes, we offer exchanges. Contact us to arrange it. You will need to cover the new shipping fee.
- Damaged Item: If your order arrives damaged, email us photos within 48 hours. If the box looks badly damaged upon arrival, you can refuse the delivery.
- International Returns: You must write "RETURNED GOODS" clearly on the outside of the package to avoid customs fees.
- Refunds: Once we approve your return, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
