ARTICLE 1 – PREAMBLE & LEGAL INFORMATION
These Terms of Sale (the "Terms of Sale") govern all purchases made through the online store at [www.yvon-lambert.com](https://www.yvon-lambert.com) (the "Site"), operated by:

By placing an order on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale.

ARTICLE 2 – PRODUCTS & PRICES

1. Product Availability & Descriptions:
   Products offered for sale include books, magazines, art prints, limited editions, clothing, and objects. Descriptions are presented with the utmost accuracy.
   
2. Made-to-Order Production Delays:
   Certain items (including on-demand printed t-shirts or art prints) are produced on a specific or monthly schedule. A production timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks applies prior to dispatch.
   
3. Pricing & Fixed Book Price Law:
   Prices are listed in Euros (€) inclusive of all applicable French taxes (TTC). In accordance with French law (Loi Lang n° 81-766), new book prices are fixed and determined by the publisher or importer. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
   
4. Retention of Title:
   All items remain the exclusive property of Yvon Lambert Bookshop until full payment has been processed and received.
   

ARTICLE 3 – ORDERS & PAYMENT

1. Order Validation:
   An order is finalized once you confirm your cart, accept these Terms, and complete payment. A confirmation email with order details is sent automatically.
   
2. Payment Methods:
   Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payment gateways (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.).
   

ARTICLE 4 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY
(Summary of our Shipping Policy)

1. Fulfillment Lead Times:
   In-stock orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (Tuesday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
   
2. Delivery Methods:
   Orders are shipped via Colissimo or Priority Mail (La Poste) depending on destination and weight.
   
3. In-Store Pickup (Click & Collect):
   Free pickup is available at our Paris store (14 rue des Filles du Calvaire, 75003 Paris) during regular operating hours (Tuesday–Saturday 10am–7pm, Sunday 2pm–7pm). You will receive an email once your order is ready for collection.
   
4. Customs Duties & Import Taxes (Non-EU):
   For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, customs taxes, or administrative handling fees may be levied by local authorities upon arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
   

ARTICLE 5 – CANCELLATION, RETURNS & REFUNDS
(Summary of our Return & Refund Policy)

1. Cancellation Rights (Return Windows):
   ⚬ European Union Residents: You have 14 clear days from delivery to notify us of your return.
   ⚬ Non-EU Residents: An extended window of 30 days from delivery is granted.
   
2. Return Procedure:
   You must email us at shop@yvon-lambert.com prior to returning any item. Items must be returned in brand-new, unused, and intact condition, securely packaged to: Librairie Yvon Lambert, 14 rue des Filles du Calvaire, 75003 Paris, France.
   
3. Shipping Fees & Prepaid Labels:
   ⚬ Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
   ⚬ If we provide you with a prepaid return shipping label depending on your location, its cost will be deducted from your total refund amount.
   ⚬ Upon valid cancellation, initial standard shipping fees paid at checkout will be refunded to you.
   
4. International Returns (Non-EU):
   You must clearly mark "RETURNED GOODS" on the outside of the parcel and on the customs form (CN22/CN23). Any customs fees levied upon arrival in France due to failure to include this notice will be deducted from your refund.
   
5. Unclaimed Parcels & Incorrect Address:
   If a package is returned to us due to failure to collect it within allotted timeframes or due to an incorrect/incomplete shipping address:
   ⚬ Refund option: We will issue a refund for the product price and initial standard shipping fees, minus the actual return costs charged by the carrier to send the package back to us.
   ⚬ Re-shipment option: New shipping charges for re-delivery remain your responsibility.
   
6. Non-Refundable Exceptions (Art. L. 221-28 French Consumer Code):
   The right of cancellation does not apply to:
   ⚬ Single issues of magazines, journals, or periodicals.
   ⚬ Custom-made or clearly personalized items (e.g. bespoke prints or custom framing).
   
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items:
   If your package arrives damaged or contains an error, please contact us within 48 to 72 hours at shop@yvon-lambert.com with clear photographs. Replacements or full refunds will be handled entirely at our expense.
   

ARTICLE 6 – LEGAL GUARANTEES & GOVERNING LAW

1. Legal Guarantees:
   Products sold benefit from the French legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
   
2. Governing Law & Disputes:
   These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. European consumer buyers may also access the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
