Coppie di Fatto, the new collection by Nathalie Du Pasquier for Mutina Editions, following the success of Paesaggi (2022).
Entirely handcrafted, this series continues the artist’s exploration of ceramics through reversible and ambiguous forms: vases that become bowls, containers with shifting functions, and objects conceived to exist in pairs. The very title, Coppie di Fatto (“de facto couples” in Italian), reflects this fundamental duality.
The collection unfolds in two complementary groups:
Seven colorful pairs, open edition, sold exclusively as duos, expressing the playful and versatile nature of the project.
A matte black series, limited to 10 editions plus 3 artist’s proofs, created using the rare technique of immersion glazing, which lends these works a sculptural and contemplative presence.
Each object, signed and numbered, combines the irony of Nathalie Du Pasquier’s artistic language with the excellence of Italian craftsmanship.
