Lebanese, Syrian, French, and American writer, poet, and painter Etel Adnan (1925–2021) created a deeply poetic body of work spanning writing in French, English, and Arabic as well as visual art.
This publication is a facsimile reproduction of a manuscript poem inscribed within thirty-one original drawings by the artist.
Designed as a folding edition, the work consists of forty-two panels on 150 gsm Munken Print White paper and a four-panel cover on 310 gsm Arches Aquarelle paper. The volume is housed in a dry-stamped slipcase. Photogravure was produced by Les Artisans du Regard in collaboration with Stéphane Crémer, who also supervised the publication’s production. Printing was executed by Art & Caractère (Lavaur), with binding and casing crafted by La Reliure d’Art du Centre (Limoges).
