with Emmanuel Tibloux, director of École des Arts décoratifs and future curator of the Art and Industry Triennial in 2027. The discussion will focus on the book "La fondation Thalie, 10 ans de création" (The Thalie Foundation, 10 Years of Creation), published by Skira, at the crossroads of contemporary art, design and ecological narratives, notably the "Créateurs Urgence Climat" (Climate Emergency Creators) programme run in partnership with ENSAD, as well as a special focus on the collection that champions scenes from the Global South, female artists and craftsmanship.

An art book tracing the history of the Thalie Foundation since 2014, through a programme of exhibitions, artist residencies and high-quality cultural events in Brussels (a historic location) and Arles (summer exhibitions). More than 300 artists, performers and writers have been invited and supported from the start. A private patronage initiative led by Nathalie GUIOT, art collector, publisher, exhibition curator and patron. A central section brings together around a hundred works from the collection, complemented by critical texts by Yann Chateigne-Tytelman (exhibition curator), Chiara Vecchiarelli (philosopher) and Emmanuel Tibloux (director of ENSAD), each reflecting the diversity of the foundation’s commitments.

“The Thalie Foundation was born out of a desire to create a place for living, thinking and creating, at the crossroads of contemporary art, writing, design and ecology. In 2014, I dreamed of this project as an open, vibrant house, inhabited by dialogue between disciplines, imaginations and urgent issues of our time. This dream took shape in Brussels, in a modernist house transformed into a cultural space. (…) Featuring a selection of works from the collection for the first time, this book gathers the echoes of this human and artistic adventure. Like a living, evolving memory, it is a prelude to what remains to be invented.” Nathalie Guiot.
