Le second recueil de poèmes de l'artiste américain Rene Ricard, écrits entre 1979 et 1982, offre un témoignage vibrant de l'underground new-yorkais des années 1980.
God with Revolver, initialement paru en 1989 à New York dans la série Hanuman Books, est dédié à l'expérience douloureuse d'un chagrin d'amour. Il semble avoir été écrit dans un souffle. God with Revolver offre un témoignage vibrant du New York des années 1980, et s'adresse aux lecteurs d'aujourd'hui dans toute son intensité, sa vulnérabilité et son authenticité.
Rene Ricard est un peintre, poète, et critique d'art américain né en 1946 à Acushnet (Massachussetts). À 18 ans, il rejoint New York et intègre la scène artistique underground. Il écrit de nombreux articles (notamment dans Artforum, Art in America, etc.) et édite plusieurs livres de poésie. Il développe parallèlement une œuvre picturale, où l'écrit tient une place importante. Il vit à New York jusqu'à sa mort, survenue en 2014.

Shipping fees for your order will be automatically calculated depending on the weight, the volume of the package(s) and the destination. If you want us to ship by another carrier service (UPS, FedEx, DHL...), please write us before placing an order.
We try our best to pack the products in the most protected way possible. For posters and prints, we roll in a cardboard tube and pack the tube in a cardboard box. Some products (i.e. books and posters) may not be able to be packed together. Orders with different product types or sizes can be subject to doubled shipping fees.
