Kris Martin - Myosotis
The title of the book refers to the Myosotis, a fragile blue flower also called “Forget-Me-Not”, a symbol of love and fidelity. Traditionally these flowers are dried between the pages of a large book, like the telephone book. The set consists of nine hundred and eighty-four pages on Fedrigoni Woodstock Betulla 80gr/m2 paper. The facsimile of the official telephone directory, Circonscription de Paris, 1961, alphabetical list from A to L, adapted by Kris Martin, a dried forget-me-not flower, the cover with the title written by Kris Martin and the colophon. The design of this book was led by Kris Martin and Yvon Lambert, with the help of Randoald Sabbe (Typography, design) and Tim Vanheers (Project Management).
