Nathalie Du Pasquier - Campo di Marte II
The new edition of Campo di Marte by Nathalie Du Pasquier is enriched with sixteen additional compositions, expanding and complementing the original selection of the first edition.
Campo di Marte was devised in March 2020, at a time when Nathalie Du Pasquier was not painting. After cutting out photos of paintings produced between the 1980s and 2020, the French artist then placed them in a sequence as if they were a series of typefaces, focusing solely on their formal qualities and the scope for interpretation offered by their assembly. What comes out is an enchanting game of nonsense, an everyday surrealism in which the images make up sentences of sorts, interwoven with various elements taken from the world of books: titles, poems or mere calculations – times when the artist was lost for words. Campo di Marte will also be the name of an exhibition, curated by Luca Lo Pinto, due to be held at the MACRO in Rome at the end of 2020. As Du Pasquier states: "The book was supposed to come out at the same time as the exhibition opening. That won't be the case, but it doesn't matter as they really are two separate things. This paperback is not a catalogue at all: it's something you can browse through even while sitting on the underground."

A famous designer and co-founder of the Memphis group in Milan in 1981, Nathalie Du Pasquier (born 1957 in Bordeaux, France, lives in Milan, Italy) accompanied the (post)modern adventure around designer Ettore Sottsass, with the creation of objects, fabrics, carpets, and furniture. In 1986, she started devoting herself exclusively to two- and three-dimensional painting. Memphis's radicalism and formal inventiveness measured solely in terms of a scathing and iconoclastic postmodernism erased a little too quickly the adventure's modern foundations. Nathalie Du Pasquier's paintings are a perfect revelation of these connections: axonometric compositions applied to painting, the palette of muffled colors, objects, when they are present in the compositions, wink at the purism of a Corbusier or an Ozenfant. Mixed with memories and assimilations arising from the most tridimensional Suprematism–the architectones–some paintings and constructions also give prominence to this history of art and the applied arts.

Our photo prints and t-shirts are produced on-demand. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production before these items are shipped. - In-Stock Items (All Other Products)
All other orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1-2 business days. - Order Notifications
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after your purchase. A second email with tracking information will be sent as soon as your order has shipped. - Restocking
Occasionally, some item may be in the process of restocking. If this causes a delay in preparing your order, we will contact you directly by email to inform you.
2. Shipping & Delivery
- Packaging
We pack every order with care to ensure it arrives safely. Posters and prints are rolled and placed in a sturdy cardboard tube, which is then secured in a shipping box.
Important Note on Combined Orders:
Please be aware that certain items, like books and posters, cannot be safely packed together due to their different shapes and sizes. As a result, an order containing multiple item types may be shipped in separate packages and incur separate shipping fees. - Shipping Rates & Carriers
We ship worldwide from Paris via La Poste (France's national postal service), using their Colissimo, Priority Mail services. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight, volume, and destination of your package. If you require a different carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL), please contact us before placing your order to arrange it. - Estimated Transit Times
Once your order has shipped, the estimated delivery times are as follows:

3. Free In-Store Pickup (Paris)
You can skip the shipping fees with our free local pickup service at our bookshop in Paris.
- How it Works:
Simply select the "Pick up" option at checkout.

If you are ordering from outside of France but wish to collect your order at our bookshop in Paris, please select "France" as the delivery country first. The "Pick up" option will then become available. If the location still does not appear, you can click on "Search elsewhere" and enter the postcode 75003. - Preparation Time:
In-stock items will be ready for pickup within 24 hours (Tuesday-Saturday). This does not apply to made-to-order items like art prints and t-shirts. - Notification:

Return Policy
- 14 to 30-Day Returns: You have 14 clear days from delivery to notify us of your return if you reside within the European Union, and 30 days for orders delivered outside the European Union.
- Item Condition: Items must be returned intact, new, and securely packaged in their original condition to be eligible for a refund.
- Contact Us First: Before sending an item back, you must email us at shop@yvon-lambert.com to notify us of your decision and receive return instructions.
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are your sole responsibility. In the event of a valid cancellation, initial standard shipping fees are included in your refund. For unclaimed packages or incorrect addresses, the actual return shipping charges billed by the carrier will be deducted.
- Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please send us photographs of both the package and the item by email as soon as possible (within 48 to 72 hours). If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, you may refuse it directly with the carrier.
- International Returns (Non EU): To prevent customs charges upon arrival in France, you must clearly mark "RETURNED GOODS" on the customs declaration form (CN22/CN23) as well as on the outside of the package.
- Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected at our store, your refund will be processed within 14 days using your original payment method.
