Niele Toroni
À la queue leu leu
A key figure of Swiss conceptual and minimalist art, Niele Toroni defined his entire artistic practice around a rigorous, repetitive method: imprints of a No. 50 paintbrush applied at regular 30 cm intervals.
Titled “À la queue leu leu”—literally “at the tail of the wolf” and meaning “in single file”—this edition features five original paint imprints executed by the artist in a leporello format. The copies across the edition are produced in four distinct colors: red, black, beige, and dark blue.
The text was set in Helvetica Neue type and screen printed by Atelier Éric Seydoux on 270 gsm Vélin BFK Rives paper. The complete work is housed in a custom slipcase crafted by Établissements Dermont-Duval.
