American contemporary post-minimalist artist Richard Tuttle collaborates here with French poet Anne-Marie Albiach (1937–2012), a prominent figure in abstract poetry.
Titled “L’EXCÈS : cette mesure” [EXCESS: this measure], the publication features forty-eight unpublished poems written specifically for this edition by Anne-Marie Albiach, accompanied by forty-eight drawings by Richard Tuttle.
The volume was typeset in Garamond type by Vincent Fardoux and entirely screen printed by Éric Seydoux on 180 gsm pure rag paper. Bound by Emmanuel Ardant, the book features a binding made of parchment and hot-stamped gold leather. The complete work is presented inside a black velvet box.
